A Dangerous Goods Safety Advisor is a person appointed to an entity involved in the transport of dangerous goods to provide advice, monitor compliance with legal requirements and ensure the preparation of an annual report.
Under the Waste Management Regulations, companies involved in the handling of Hazardous/ Healthcare Risk Waste must have access to a Dangerous Goods Safety Advisor to advise producers on their obligations when developing and implementing a Waste Management Plan. It is advisable that a Dangerous Goods Safety Advisor reviews completed Risk Assessments, Waste Management Plans, Waste Policies & Producers to ensure full conformance of your business with all National and EU Legislation.
