DOCTORS

DoctorsG.P’s/ Doctors produce Clinical Waste through the treatment of their patients.  Clinical Waste is any waste which has come in contact with human bodily fluids that has potentially infectious, sharp or offensive characteristics.  This waste must be segregated in the correct packaging to maintain control and compliance with all National Waste Management and Health & Safety Legislation.

All producers of clinical waste must be able to show a compliant and auditable system if audited by a HSA inspector.
